Show your current track (WIP)

Don't know if people might find this interesting but here goes. Inspired by the 'Show your studio' thread and countless show your (computer) desktop threads found on the web, it might be fun to show a picture of the current project you're working on this time. Although a picture won't always say much, let's add a small audio clip of max. 30 seconds as a teaser. And maybe some info about the project. Might also be cool to show the part of the audio clip (zoomed in).

Again, just for fun and to move away a bit from the usual topics we see in here.
Would also be wise to NOT use this thread for the promotion of your track(s), we have other subforums for that. That's why the suggestion for only small audio clips. Spark off the curiosity of others and show your Work In Progress!

I'll kick-off. Small track I started yesterday out of boredom. Nothing special, basically a build-up of some sorts and sounds crap at the moment. Will probably end up in the "never to be finished" folder

This is one im working on, one of my many projects, still not finished one song after 3+ years of producing on Cubase SX3 (depressing I know) but I think this has potential so working on it more.

basically all the channels are in mono except for the main drone. their surround angles/tilts are mapped to a lemur patch i made for surround control and stereo placement (i'm too cheap to spend 400$ for a damn dexter firmware upgrade)

Hm It could have been I was going through an old folder and it was a remix, I cant find it now tho! lo

Now this is trance, nice modern/proggy/melodic, this is what I want to produce lo. Its got a Bedrock/Perry Oneil style to it (google them).

When this gets moving at 35seconds I really feel like some vocals should kick in and start bringing the tune in to its own, get singer man!

Heh, yea - I actually was making this track with vocals in mind. I just don't have anyone to provide them for me and I don't think my voice would do so well, haha

Just used the Fruity Peak Controller to get the sidechain effect.

I made it a link. It was terrible hehe

No sample as I'm not really satisfied about it's sound right now. Problem is you see only a part of 1 bar here, since this program (Renoise) works pattern based and it doesn't have any piano-roll like features. So this will have to do, unless someone wants about 80 of these pictures

Very early stages still, its using the chords from tukan - light a rainbow just to have something playing. I have spent about 40 mins on this project last night but i intend to finish it tonight.
