Tech Trance - Priority One 'Cuepoint' [Updated 192 Sample]
This is one of a couple of new pieces I'm working on. It's darker and snappier than my previous stuff, but in trying something a little different, I've found some nice dark sounds that seem to layer well together.
There's work to do with the arrangement and balance, but its come on a lot in the past few days so here's a snippet of how it sounds at the moment . . .
Click: Priority One 'Cuepoint'.
Any feedback is most welcome and thanks for looking (and listening)!

Hey.
The Bass and the perc sounds really good.
Cool melody at 1.00. I like the break alot, maybe a little to long
for my taste but nice.
Good luck with the finishing

Very cool break/build; quite dynamic! I love the energy in this track. Sounds like a hit. Great job
I hope you dont misunderstod about the break tho, I think it sounds really good.
Listened to it again now, and I dont think its to long either anymore. No reason to rework it I think.
And that sharp bass sounds great
Thanks both ... I've tweaked the freq's on the sharp bass slightly so updated sample is on the original link.
Sounds nice for the first impression. Good sounds and a nice flow. Maybe you can built out more of the melody between 1.00 and the break for an interesting track.
The energy of this track feels great
perfect trance energy stuff
The break is psychotic
but the song didn't explode after the break!
I think this is more Psy-Trance than tech trance.
It flows neatly up til the breakdown, but I think that you should look into the build up, a previous member said that the track didn't explode after the breakdown, which is not the case, what really happened is that the build up wasn't fulfilling, in other words , you need to create more expectation and anxiety in that build up, crashes, more sound effects maybe? Also, the rolling kicks were distorting the sound there, so I'd look into that.
Thanks guys, I'm just finding the point at which the kick and snares start to sidechain against the main body of the tune. Maybe also another melody layer as the tune kicks back in? Still gonna sharpen up the 'wet' bass in the break too ...
