from the sound of their description though,

you probably need to give up your first born to even be able to walk-in the door. so i wouldnt count on checking it out really. how long do these kinda clubs usually last anyway? i cant imagine a club at the fountainebleu sticking around too long. its too far north from south beach for one. and its in a hotel. so how the fuck does that work? im sure the rich ass people that can actually afford the fountainebleau dont want to see little clubbers running around the whole time. thats what we have downtown for.

Holy crap! The ticket prices for Tiesto are insane!!

Posted by EDM-head on Nov-09-2008 22:16:

I'm definitely going to this event. Tiesto in a new night club with what should be a killer sound system , the sound system in Mansion really sucks, which is were he normally goes to, plus I need my Tiesto fix since last time I saw him was at Trance Energy earlier this year.

after party?

Cool Here's the venue if you're curious.

A look inside the venue for the idly curious.

Idle speculation on what the hell they're doing:

damn, that looks pretty fuckin awesome. or at least the ceiling does.

the atmosphere and clientele it is sure to attract....for shame!

Exclamation

Not enough of a market to warrant another megaclub focused on dance music in Miami. Space has it cornered, despite Mansion trying to do dance acts for some-odd reason.

Riiiighhht. You must work for Space.

Competition, diversity and more dance events/clubs is a good thing for consumers, period. The "market" you speak of would be better served if more people were involved in bringing quality events of all types, not less.

Good lord, do people really pay 5k +175 surcharge for Tiesto?

Posted by snatonsb on Dec-09-2008 02:25:

Well has some of the most insane lighting.

Posted by JD8180 on Dec-09-2008 02:37:

my friend actually started working at the fountainbleau after the new renovation. he said that the lighting (I'm hoping for the entire hotel) cost them millions of dollars alone. I think the grand opening of LIV was with David Guetta, where all the tables were priced at $3,800 as the minimum price. he told me that they had all the tables reserved way before the actual event.

this hotel is literally for the rich and famous, so expect to pay up to try and fit in.

I went to some bars there for my birthday recently... $21 for a drink!
