Awesome stuff.
LATER BUSH
i'm more than happy with the outcome, but it's opened my eyes to how many people my age are completely ignorant when it comes to politics, yet choose to voice their thoughtless opinion. this is the first year people my age can vote, and just looking at the facebook statuses makes me extremely angry. this year, i didn't vote because i consider myself politically uneducated. yet, i know more than all of my friends who did vote and care to shove their "opinions" on others.
this is probably the one occurrance in life that i would be fine with being restricted to an older age. i can bitch all day about webster hall being 19+, or the upcoming creamer & k @ love being 21+, but if the government turned around and said voting is now 21+, i'd be more than content with it.
that is all. had to vent somewhere :P
mccain got mccowned
wooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111111oneone
Really I'm just overjoyed that my vote as a VA resident finally counted. Still think the electoral college needs to be abolished though... totally hilarious that victory and concession speeches are made before all the votes are counted.

first time in 4 elections i actually voted for a winner (and even yesterday, came close to pulling the lever for someone else...)
i'm certainly glad he won but the press coverage, and people's facebook status thingies, have abandoned reality altogether: he's just a man -- and a centrist lawyer at that.
iam not really into politics but good for him
i didnt really feel mccain was a better choice then him and even if mccain did win and say he died, you honestly think palin would be a good president?
so yea good for obama, he has alot of challenges ahead of him hopefully he can turn this country around for the better
Today, I am proud to a pennsylvanian. I'm glad our state came through for Obama.
I am even more proud of our country today. It's about time we grew up a bit.
However I am quite ashamed that Alaska is part of country today. I don't know whats wrong with those people up there. Maybe Darren can enlighten me since he spent time there this year, or if by some strange reason there are actually board members from that state. How can you re-elect a convicted felon to the US Senate? And not just any felony. The man took bribes (gifts) from lobbyists. This is the worst crime you can commit as a politician. It's dirty, disgusting, dispeciable. How is it a sitting US Senator is allowed to keep his job after a conviction like that? Our gov't is FUCKED. The man doesn't let any legislation pass by without adding some pork for his home state. He's a joke. And now, so is Alaska. And not because of Sarah Palin.
