Massachusetts votes to decriminalize marijuana
Obviously it's not the big news item at the moment, but voters in Massachusetts today voted to decriminalize marijuana. So now anyone in the state that is caught with an ounce or less of weed will no longer face criminal penalties. Instead, they'll have to turn over the weed and pay a $100 fine..
I don't smoke myself, but it think it's a great thing. Hopefully other states and eventually Canada will follow suit.

i find this stunning, that the united states would be the first to do this. Canada should have been way out in front on this topic considering how much more left wing we are. Personally i completely agree. Now im partially biased on the subject considering i was arrested and charged with possession of 1.5grams.
literally i was handcuffed, harassed, arrested and charged with 1.5grams.
fuck da police.

| Originally posted by waynoinsano yes, i still have the papers from the court case to prove it. and yes it was a personal problem, but i dont see how that diffuses my origional point of it being a contridiction of country ideologies. and yes it does depend on the officer. i spoke with my good freind a peel police officer, and he said he doesnt bust people for anything under 5grams. he was rather suprised that it happened. |
i've been toking for like 5 years and smoke very openly.. I think you if your scared of getting caught that will lead to bad paranoia..
i am extra careful in the states though.. soo expensive there and shitty if u get caught!
theres a reason why tabacco is legal and weed isn't!

I hope these morAns in Massachusetts enjoy their insane citizens smoking up and murdering each other, raping puppies and eating human flesh while dancing to Pagan gods.
The reason I mentioned tobacco is because the government wants you to become addicted soo you buy more and more. Imagine if weed was sold in stores just like cigarettes for the same amount of money.. i would say tobacco would make more money then weed.
