Sphere was way too deep for my liking...
The Jurassic books were much better than the movies. The sequals anyway...
I'm the saddest about ER. Ive been watching from the pilot and don't want to see it go...
I guess he died with his show..

Originally posted by Orko Haha! That seals it, we have nothing in common! ![]() I thought Sphere was just amazing, and thought Jurassic Park was meh. Sphere was much deeper, and philosophical. Did you mean the books or the movies, because I am talking about the books. Did anybody else notice that mathematicians were always very highly regarded in his books? RIP sir. You have greatly entertained me over the years, and I thank you for it.

Originally posted by MarkT agreed. I enjoyed Sphere. Andromeda Strain was probably my favourite though. His attention to detail and the research that went into his writing were incredible.
My bad on the second thread about this sad loss. Didnt realise someone else would have created one for him. Im glad Im not the only one whos going to really, truly lament his passing
I still cant believe that Im NEVER EVER going to be able to read another new novel put out by him. That experience and joy is forever lost now. Hard wrapping my head around this reality

Originally posted by smuncky i really enjoyed "travels". i'd even recommend reading that first before reading any other of his books. you get to experience and know what he went through and how his life journey reflects in his novels.

Originally posted by jon jon ER is sick, agreed. A lot of things about ER I fucking loved, but I really felt like the last two seasons were absolute GARBAGE!! hah In an attempt to "romance" the show (a la Grey's Anatomy) they turned it into shit...
