Smoking ..umm..something Smashing Pumpkings... Tonight Tonight!

Anyone else going to the concert tonight at the United Palace Theater?

Cant wait, I love the Pumpkins.

There is a second show tomorrow night as well. They are not doing the same song twice.

Between tonight and Sasha tomorrow I am in heaven!

I haven't seen them live since I was like 14. Not really digging their newer albums so that may have something to do with it.

True,
but Butch Vig, same producer on Siamese Dream is producing the new Green Day. Should be interesting.

through one of my high school best friends who happened to be and still is a ridiculously beautiful girl. you know one of those who gets stuff all the time because she's hot. anyway, she got some random to give her a vip pass on our way out. in the green room or whatever she had a conversation with james while she got stuff signed, including stuff for me to remember my first concert and when he signed my name (which is not common...well not common here in the united states anyway)they had a conversation and ta da he said he would name his first kid after me. its a good memory...

wow that would totally make me giddy as hell how wonderful!

man i thought about hitting up the show but i heard their style is not the same anymore, and I havent heard any of their more recent albums or tracks

i used to LOVEEEE Smashing Pumpkins back in the day

Posted by Miss Bliss on Nov-07-2008 22:28:

Saw them in Switzerland in 2007... they played Disarm, 1979, all the "classics" except Bullet with Butterfly Wings lol

They were great even though it's not really "Smashing Pumpkins" anymore, it's Billy Corgan...... and a bunch of other people.

Posted by EliPsE on Nov-07-2008 22:41:

I'm going to see them up in Boston next week. How was it?
