Question Ripping CD's to .MP3 and .Wav

Sure, this is pretty easy. If you have a cd burner, you should be able to do this with your burning software, depending on what it is. If you cannot, then try nero burning rom. It's an excellent prog! Also Audiograbber will work, and so will Soundforge.

ooh, also, try www.cnet.com and go to downloads. I'm sure there are dozens of programs there that will help you! Most of them are free too

best one for windows is EAC, found at www.exactaudiocopy.de . It makes wav files, but you can combine it with the LAME.dll from www.r3mix.net and you'll get perfect mp3s!

I second that.

Or you could just use CDEx, which has the Lame encoder built into it, so you only need to click on "Copy CD to MP3" and it does the ripping and encoding for you. I can't remember the URL for it, but if you PM me I have the setup file for it.

EAC gives higher quality rips than CDex.
