CDJ is not reading discs.

Played a party a couple days ago, worked fine, get home and it isn't reading discs.

CDJ-800, put a disc in, stays in there for around a minute, ejects. When i press the eject button, it takes forever to eject a disc. Got a lens cleaner, isn't reading the disc either, put it in there, it's spinning and shit, but doesn't seem to be doing much to fix my issue.

Anyone know what the fuck is going on?

i agree with the look for new model opinion. Repairs for models that old would probably cost the same(or close) to upgrade used.

as much as it sucks, 4 years is not bad as i know people who have had fuck ups way earlier.

I had the same exact problem you are describing. When you put the cd it makes the sound like its reading and it stops, its reading and it stops, its reading and it stops and then ejects?

It costs around 400 dollars to fix.

p.s. Lense cleaner is bad for the cdj, it says not to use it.

yep, pretty much. makes a loud spinning noise, stays on loading for a few minutes, and ejects.

i don't get why it does it, i take care of my CDJ's and shit. 400$

Exactly what two of mine did. I assume that it started to make the spinning noise a while before it actually broke? Welcome to the club, buddy.
