What is Fidget House?

What the heck is Fidget House? Am I the last person to have heard of this? I've been hearing about it from other DJs and based on what I've listened to, it's not really different enough to be its own classification. I think DJs are using this coined term as a way of getting more press coverage or something. Anybody else agree?

i'm pretty sure its a made up thing. Never heard of it, and I agree that its not different enough to warrant its own classification. The guys from crookers play stuff that i guess people are calling fidget house but i don't see it as anything that couldn't be classified in any other genres already.

It's pretty much just glitchy electro house - very nu ravey/hipster. It's not that different from standard "electro house," and most of the big djs in that scene mix both.

first track is't fidget, but all after pretty much are

i like to think it's jacking glitched out electro house, but with phat wonky basslines. sometime i joke it sounds like a pinball machine gone bezerk... basslines are similar to dubstep at times

my favorite producers are heavyfeet, the bulgarian, sexual chocolate, kyle watson, jesse rose, deviant soundsystem, rene van munster, ed kane, and more

potty mouth, crux, junky trunk, & dubsided are all dope labels

also fidgety and super phat, are bass kleph, twocker, calvertron

fidget house is a pretentious name for a bunch of terrible music that more or less is just vocal electro with too many effects ("glitchy"), or otherwise already able to be categorized into other types of music nobody should ever listen to.

yo just cuz u dont like it doesnt mean its wack. I love this music! Some peeps might find your music terrible, do you care? I am sure you don't. There is something for everybody. Everyone has their own taste in music.
