I am trying to use Gigaport AG with 8 channels output, I am not sure how everything should look like. I really dont want to use my laptops soundcard and use my external one. It seems like there is no recording input for my card. I will try to take a picture of my setup and link it if it helps.
take a few pictures for sure
then it might be easier for us to help you

from what i can tell, you don't have an input on that card, you'll have to get an RCA to 1/8" stereo adapter and use your laptop's input

Thanks for the help guys. It is my soundcard indded, it doesnt have any input. Would you recommend any usb card out there?
When i was using my laptop to record (which did'nt have any input line) i used my M-Audio Audiophile to connect through USB.
