when i was young i don't think i would, but now that i actually have to work for a living, and the fact that my pares probably don't have that much time left in them i think i'd have to trade them off to live a life of luxury.

I don't live in Bolton. It's just where the one grandparent I don't recall knowing (she died when I was 2) was born, so its my tribute to a part of me that I don't know much about.

A friend of mine lost his Dad to a very rare form of cancer. When his Mom was in the hospital she met a guy who's wife was dying of the same form of cancer. Long story short, the guy ends up being worth 3 billion (founded a fortune 50 company). Long story short there's no doubt in my mind the kid would trade the money for this real Dad back.

Me, I'm probably pathetic enough to take the $.

if you mean at 17 i am able to trade my parents in for that much cash, thus, become an orphan, then yes...maybe. where is it comming from though? is this a blank check? i would suffer retaliation from the citizens of my country if it were.

if you mean having no parents from day one, i would not trade my parents, they are way better than most people's parents , most people's parents are deplorable people, plus they are able to feed me and send me to school. I thank God that my parents are awesome.
