For the president, largest voter turnout in history. How about...

The Senate is arguably the strongest law-making power in the United States government. It presides over everything from local laws passed in Georgia all the way to what the nation does in Iraq. If you want any kind of support from your senator - whether it be for the legalization of weed or more affordable college - I suggest you participate in this election. I strongly advise everyone to take a stand and exercise your voting right as a citizen in the state of Georgia. All it takes is a brief stop at the polls - and trust me - the line won't be endless as it was November 4th. I thought voter turnout was lower. It was definitely lower in Georgia. In 2004 77% of registered voters in Georgia actually voted as opposed to 73% in 2008.

Was a lot higher nationwide. You just proved my point that we need to get people active.

Fuck politics, I'm way too sick of hearing about it at this point to care.

Hmmm in my experience it being legal or not really has no impact on the use of it, it's simply a matter of convenience.

I'm also not saying I think politics are worthless, I understand the importance it's just that with the amount of political saturation lately I just don't want to hear about it much more.

The idea of legalizing or decriminalizing marijuana is not for your convenience son.

Well yeah, I'm just saying it being legal or not doesn't matter much to me at this point. It would be cool if it was though.

Also, the reason I wrote the note was to combat ignorant tarts like this to getting into office.

percents don't always show numbers..many more people could have been registered this time around.

Vote Martin as early as possible, and convince others to do the same. I believe in-person absentee voting begins on Monday. Advance voting begins 11/24, and the last day to vote is on 12/2. I'm not sure about polling locations and times for in-person absentee and advance voting, but I'll try to post an update later.

Well, hopefully Chambliss can wrap this win up once and for all. Didn't he get more votes anyways, just not enough to call it? Jim Martin is a joke. The only thing he does is try to connect Saxby to the so called "Bush economic plan." Sad people buy into that crap. It will add a little bit of happiness back to the picture if Chambliss does win.

And Sam, once again, because I have differing views from you guys I have to explain myself? I didn't see you asking him why he supported Martin. I'm not going to explain anything. I support Chambliss and don't like Martin. I know why I believe what I believe and trying to explain it to any of you guys would be a waste of my time. And by the way, that article is just trying to make him look bad. It's called taking things out of context. I'm just trying to show you guys that not everyone thinks like you guys do. That's the only reason I post anything.

I know you think you're so smart, but really, I see a lot of ignorance in your views and the way you go about questioning people who don't agree with you. You probably think I don't know what my views are, but like I said, there is no intelligent discussion here, so I won't waste my time even trying to type them up. I guess I'll have the last laugh when Chambliss ends up kicking Martin to the curb.

Dude, he already got more votes once. What do you expect to happen, more people come out of the wood works? Now the tables are being turned on me for the same things people attacked me for before. I said John McCain had a chance and a couple people said there is no way like they knew what was going to happen. Funny how it was ok for them to do it. I guess we will just have to wait and see. Georgians were smart enough to vote McCain over Obama, hope they don't screw this up.

Actually, I haven't seen one instance in this thread where anyone has "made" you write why you support Chambliss (whom I will be voting for as well because Martin is a ninny). All Sam has done is post random smilies and told you to chill the fuck out, you've just taken it upon yourself to act like a tool.

Just sayin'.
