haha ya and the free drinks.

I'm sure it would be a cool experience.

Its allways good to get a few words from someone. They might have a technique you modify and use in your sets to your style. I really dislike DJs that feel they know all and cant learn anything else.

well ya im sure it would be a good learning experience, even if you know alot already, just hearing some new tips from some pros might help you out in any way. Plus for someone who has never played live, it would be good to check out the club and get a feel for what its like to play infront of a large crowd.

as if DJing's so hard you can't figure it out yourself! LOL

exactly. its not like, let's say, learning flamenco guitar.

Posted by DJ Blitzkrieg on Nov-12-2008 11:54:

Well I did teach myself A LOT on guitar but I'd still would be down for pointers any time. I think you can always learn something from better DJs as well. Plus it's the MoS!!!

holy ...

Given what's on that page, I don't think there's much news for most of the people here. I can't figure out what kind of people who are attending though.

Most of this stuff you can figure you out for yourself, using the web.

However, it would be frekking cool to attend in either case.

while pinging so hard you probably can't hold the lighter still long enough for him to get the first puff

Posted by wesleysnipez on Nov-16-2008 08:35:

Would be cool to take the class since for people they come out of it with more knowledge about mixing. I know if I took it I learn some stuff. But to bad it is in London so it is no dice for me.

i think u gain more from teaching DJ-ing than being taught lol

i always kind of went with the flow and didnt really know why i was doing what i was doing until i started teaching friends how to dj

Posted by Imu on Nov-20-2008 10:22:

that said, i do wish someone could teach me how to scratch properly! u know...eddie halliwell style lol

A mate of mine went on a course in Birmingham & said it was pretty good. At the end of the course all the students had to play a set of about 45 mins each in a venue with ordinary punters off the street in there. The punters knew what the score was so didn't mind the occasional fcuk up Went to see my mate & the others play & it was a good night.

I'm too tight to pay for stuff I can do fro free so taught myself with the aid of the net & a few books to help out here & there There's a guy called Ellaskins on YouToob with some great tutorials, well worth checking 'em out

I can't imagine anyone willing to pay that much for a single beginning DJ lesson, but if it sells well, thats great for them I guess.
