That is a good question.. My experience with NN-XT was a bit limited but I'd say kontakt hands down for the scripting engine, easy mapping, easy manipulation of groups, extensive library and overall power.

I would think that being able to use Kontakt with many different DAW�s & not having it tied to one specific one would make it better already regardless of power & futures. I don�t really think you could compare the two for that reason alone.

You cant use Kontakt in Reason, and you cant use NN-XT outside of Reason.
