Quick Question For Pacemaker Owners

I'm thinking of picking one up since I spend a lot of commuting time on the rail and they're on sale right now. The device is marketed as mixing on the go, but I'm wondering how exactly you are able to do that just using headphones. Do you enter a cue mode for the incoming track and one track plays in the left headphone and the other in one in the right?

I don't have the ability to test it out myself so please school me on how it would work mixing with just the headphones and no connection to an external stereo or amp/speaker setup. I don't want to drop the coin only to be disappointed.

Also, is a new model in the works or will this one be around for a while?

Thanks in advance

Since my post I've spent time reading reviews, watching video's, and browsing the forums on Tonium's site.

My verdict ... It's not perfect and has some quirks, but the January firmware update will add some important features (i.e. key lock) and the ability to mix while sitting on a train for 2 hours every day is just too appealing to pass on it. I wouldn't pay 850 US Dollars for it, but with the limited time Beatport promo going on right now, I picked it up for US $499, which to me was the sweet spot to pull the plug.

For those interested, type in BEATPACEVIP during checkout and the 40% off will automatically apply to your order.

Thanks
