Relax bro

The competition among DJ very big and similar music on the internet is a lot of. Your mix has liked me, i listened and is worse.

Thanks for your job !

You know what, I'll take a jab at this. Giving plurtrance another go for the hell of it. I know this has a lot of Armintrance, but I don't really know it and I haven't poked my head into plutrance for a while. Let's see if I'm missing anything new, groundbreaking, or good.

Hopefully I'll remember to report back

Reporting back. Hopefully this won't be deemed offensive. I hated every track I heard. Absolutely everyone of them (admittedly I skimmed about quite a bit). Every track that I bothered to trudge through sounded like this over-produced "mau5trance" almost that's being churned out tremendously. A particular focus on clear bass kicks and snare taps, little emphasis on anything new, interesting, innovative, or memorable, all of it focused on making plebs plod about on a floor and drink more.

Shit vocals. Diiiire vocals. It started off with an awful one and then there were some other trash vocals thrown in.

Beyond that, from what I heard the mixing was spot on. Not too much to report on the breakdown factor as it seems breakdowns have given way and that space is filled with utter smegma.

In any case, this is more a jab at current "trance" in general than this mix or the dj really. The dj was fine, we just have a different taste in music.

Glad to see I'm not spending much time at all with trance

I appreciate your honest opinion. I have tough skin, no worries. Like you said, a different taste in music. I don't know how much of it is "arminTrance" (lol, great word. Never heard it. I hate him too).

I don't listen to any other DJs except an occasional oakenfold set. I just download what I like and play it, period. Not everybody likes this style, just like not everybody likes DNB, Hardcore, Techno, whatever.

I try to let people know what they're going into (you'll notice trance in the title) so they don't download something and get something unexpected. I'm glad you at least gave Trance an opportunity. Most people wrote the genre off long ago and still don't care about it, so good job by you for at least giving it a chance. I wish you would have listened through without skipping (if you could stomach it) so I could know if there were any tracks you hated more than others (you hated them all). Surely some you hated more than others. I hesitate to use the word enjoyed because you clearly didn't enjoy any of them.

Anyway, thanks for listening. For the rest of you who enjoy good trance give this a listen. I've gotten a lot of good feedback on this mix.

Thanks for the kind words. There should be plenty to help pass time over the winter. Just got in some new gear so I'll be spitting out some more here in a bit. Going to play live @ 7 p.m. CST on www.afterhoursdjs.org if you'd like to listen.

Take care,
Wiley
