Did anyone go to see George Acosta on Nov. 16th

I seen him at Far West Rodeo around 2000. I was not impressed but hey a show is a show especially here in San Antonio and also Far West Rodeo ..( NOW Cowboys Dance Hall ) is the best place for EDM events. It has 2 stories and I love it. What I wanted to ask is if it was packed tonight for Geogre Acosta or not. I mean Matt Darey has a higher rank on the Dj list and he is getting a small venue compared to Geogre Acosta who isn't a bad Dj but definetly someone I don't listen to his CDs or radio shows or his remixes ( If Gerogre Acosta has even produced many remixes of great songs or Original songs ) Darey has been there since Hooj Choons with songs of the likes of GameMaster. lol. Let me know how the turn out was.

Something tells me that acosta would prbly have more peeps. Every one should know acosta < darey.

The only problem I have with Acosta is that he plays too loud for the given sound system, and the sound ends up being distorted or over-compressed.

I personally don't see it but it must be true because of the venue size but I say Darey > Acosta anyday and all day. Only thing I ever like from Acosta was his AM/PM complilations and that's old schoolish. Anyone know how packed it was? curious

I can't say since I didn't go but probably all 4.

I mean it was OK. I only went because my girl was dancing at the event.. he played alright, but after a while.. tech/trance gets kind of boring. But he didn't fuck up or anything. It was a nice size crowed for the place I guess, but the place is HUGE haha.. so.. no he didn't fill it up or even get close.

Shrug, I left before he got done playing.

I <3 that place for San Antonio. They still have the bull riding gig there? haha ! I haven't been there since the Tiestor came in like 2005 or 2004.

He trainwrecked at least 3 times and cut the volume down out of no where like a fucktard 3 times also. Acrapsta should retire with Jokenfold

Okenflop gets the crowd going with his presence atleast and he has KT on perfecto for now. But yeah these 2 Dj's days of basking in the Ibiza ocean are long but over with!

it was an aight show. didnt like the fact that he kept turning down the volume and then turning it way up. that shit was too loud for me. so glad i didnt pay and got a free ticket.

As I said, I wasn't really paying attention the cutting of the volume was because they fucked it up, so when he turned down the monitors.. the whole volume went down lol.. that part, I was there for.

I have to give George A props for dropping my 1st track in 1996 at Firestone in Orlando... "Sungod" DJ Apache... if you can post the track mp3, I will give you $50 bucks. Hint: It was released on Knightlife Records in 97. George needs to get a clue in 2008...

Naaa man, I have the MP3 and made a quick youtube thing for it right now, I don't have a server to put up the whole MP3 nor do I have an account with one of those upload sites so it was easier to put it on youtube at the moment, I guess I could e-mail a clip of the song but here is the full song with a black screen.
