Operation Artery Buster...Extreme Poutine for lunch hour cuisine

Yep, it's a poutine lunch. No health food here folks.

I'm headed over to Smoke's Poutinerie on Friday for lunch (thinkin around 12ish, but I'm probably the most flexible when it comes to my schedule should others care to join).

Website & Menu

Others have expressed interest in causing some harm to themselves through the consumption of this fine French-Canadian fare in my company, so I felt it necessary to provide some fodder to those still considering it.

Where: Smokes Poutinerie, 218 Adelaide St. West
When: Friday Let's say 12 unless there's a majority call for a different time

And now for the visual cues:

So who's in for a little gastronomic delight that most cardiologists would abhor?

Not going to happen.

I wish I didn't live so far north.

A Poutine day isn't complete without a Quebecer!

Just this one I'm afraid. But it is a Friday... perhaps an extended lunch is in order.

good idea
however even the timing won't work for me, I take lunch after 2pm, since I work odd hours, 11-7
and now I'm hungry, rrrrrr!

when is this happening?

Friday... like it says in the original post... plus there's the majority rules idea that can make this lunch later (place opens at 11:30 so can't go much earlier) if people want.

SIR! Please read the original post! lol

No, that's a normal amount. They rip you off in Toronto anywhere else.

I'd be up for another day since I have meetings on Friday.

Posted by StereoPrincess on Nov-18-2008 00:29:

i hope that you all will be prepared to buy your poutine and go somewhere else because there won't be enough space for everyone and since this will be it's first day open, there may be problems.

personally, i would wait a few weeks until they figure out all the kinks.

I am very excited that this place is opening!
