Dutch DJs Dominate...

...the EDM world

AGREE/DISAGREE

Disagree

EDM is a pretty broad and general term.

That's like saying American musicians dominate instrument based music.

Posted by Owen M on Nov-18-2008 02:50:

agree...on the grounds that ***** gains Dutch citizenship.

Even looking at just trance, I find UK trance to be better than dutch trance. Simon Patterson, John Askew, John O'Callaghan, Luke Terry, Jon O'Bir et al.

Other than the big 3, what dutch trance DJs are really making cutting edge trance music? (as in, innovative stuff) Few DJs like Octagen, Thomas Bronzwaer are making decent stuff, but for a nation with tradition of producing quality DJ/producers, last 3 yrs or so, I'm not very impressed with Dutch DJs.

I keep looking at Sweden/Finland, Germany and UK for more quality trance tunes

I'd say its a tie between Holland and the UK; Germany is a close second.

PS: lets not forget Marco V

My favorite Dutch DJs/producers at the moment are Eelke Kleijn and Mason.

Most people's sights seem to be set on Germany at the moment I think. England too of course.
