Funny picture!
But seriously, after reading about this blooper on several sites:
whats the big deal, really? Im sure they had the midi device there, just so the other guy could have some knobs to play with in between.

Actually they just seem like a duo of wannabe hipsters/scenesters who are stuck in the 80s.

What you think it was an accident? really.
He didn't notice (while looking directly at the display) that the screen was not glowing bright blue as it is meant to?

Frenchie, please.

Also, you think you can do a completely "live set" using a mpd and DJM800. Come on now. I know a couple of guys who do EDM live sets and they have to bring a fuck load of gear out with them. If you're just pressing play on ableton then all you need is a mouse.

I'm amazed and I don't really see how you can be in dance music / EDM and not heard of Justice (or the gargantuan hype surrounding) in the last year.

I think some of their tracks are genius - a bit close to Daft Punk but good none the less.

I think that it was unplugged towards the beginning because he probably didn't have anything he could do towards the beginning, but it was plugged in later on as he had parts he could improvise more on.

Still doesnt explain why he is acting as if it is on.

Well towards the beginning he isnt going to just stand around looking like an asshole. Even if he doesnt have anything to do.

Better to stand around doing nothing than fake it and look like a pair of assholes when you get caught.
