Aquilia - "Dreamstate" (Oliver Lieb's LSG Mix)

Always loved this track. Just found out that it was released on Beatport a couple days ago. Sample available there.

Finally some love for this one.

This was on GU:013, was it not? I'm sure there'll be plenty of people here with love for it.

Yep.

I've just looked on Beatport and it's released on this mysterious "Northern Exposure Recordings" label, who seem to like re-releasing old Sasha favourites with huge remix packages. I found them on there a couple of weeks ago. They've got Phoenix's "Rise Up" which was one of Sasha's legendary set-openers from the mid-90s and Wavespeech by Pete Lazonby which was featured on the first Northern Exposure too. I'll be very surprised if that Micromega track doesn't also have some connection to Sasha or Diggers as well.

Most intriguing. I wonder what else they'll re-release. Any label that makes old Sasha bombs easy to find is a label I'll be friends with.

Love this song, so glad it's up on Beatport.

I really do hope they keep re-releasing stuff on that Northern Exposure Recordings label.

Northern Exposure: Expeditions.

Huge remix packs indeed, Wavespeech has no less than 20 mixes available.

And none of them will ever beat the Vasquez mixes.

I've seen this Northern exposure label on beatport too, can't be anything but a good thing if it continues to drag up some gems.

Its a label run by the same people behind Lost Language / Precinct / Hooj etc etc..

Basically an outlet for the old Sasha and Digweed Northern Exposure / GU classics. As pointed out Micromega was indeed on Expeditions, the Bumbling Loons Mix of which was big for Sasha back in 1998/1999 when it was released on Flying Rhino.

awesome awesome track!

yesterday i blasted it in my car on my way to work! i'm really happy i have this on the gu13 vinyl package, but i wouldn't mind a good digital version of it!

i hope all this old tracks whih are released are no vinyl rips on beatport (they have done that before...)

Very nice indeed

is it on anywhere other than BP? I dislike their prices but used to use them out of desperation, however since they don't accept my card type now, they can fuck right off.

Didn't see it available digitally in any other major download shop so unless you want the 12", i guess that leaves you with one legal option: to buy the 5-track CD-r from the Northern Exposure Recordings webshop and that'll cost you around 6 with shipping.

it's available at djdownload at least. there's a typo in the artist name though, but here's the link:

Posted by MrJiveBoJingles on Nov-21-2008 20:56:

"Aquilia" is actually the correct spelling for the artist name.

Posted by GrimReaper on Nov-21-2008 20:57:

What typo? I don't see a typo there.. the artist name IS Aquilia as it's supposed to be. Tho for some damn reason i couldn't find that last night when searching DJdownload and all the other download shops...

Posted by Ian on Nov-21-2008 21:00:

cheers going to have to look into picking that up

Posted by skip on Nov-21-2008 21:06:

seems like they've fixed the typo. the djdownload email had it as "Auilia".

Posted by Ian on Nov-21-2008 21:29:

neat. im going to make a list of stuff i want & see if i can get.
