Beachball remix

Im sure this has done many times...but I think I did a fairly good job for my second remix ever, and my second song using Logic 8.

[[ LINK REMOVED ]]

I tried to copy the bass line, tried to make the drums sound as..simple as they could be (with the snare build up, I like it )

Anyways, thats it.
Feel free to tell me what you think.
I personally think this is the best I have done...ever..and Ive only used this for a couple days. This remix only took me really..just about like 2 hours =)

First of all...mass distortion. Your levels are way to high. Also the arrangement well pretty much sucks. There is not enough going on to keep one interested. You've managed to recreate the beachball drum roll which is pretty groovy but you need to work on adding more percs and drum loops. I'd also add a few fillers on the 16 / 32 bars e.g. reverse crash or hat as that is important when bringing in the next instrument.

Turn everything down. Remove that wave / bird sample, its filling too many frequency's. You need to really play with that sample to fit it in the mix. Change the snare and add some reverb & delay on that. You need a hat coming in there somewhere too and another bass line coming in.

Basically still a lot of work to do but then 2 hrs is nothing to spend on a track. Most important though...TURN EVERYTHING DOWN!!
