...Review: Peace Division @ FW
I know I'm jumping the gun here since it hasn't even started yet...
But, I'm heading to the Wine show for 4+ hours prior to this so there is a chance I won't remember I was there when I finally wake up on Sunday. Starting this thread now will remind me what I did Saturday night.
lol
Nice.
awesome.
now everyone can make up all kinds of stories about Jay and he won't remember enough to be able to dispute them.
let's hear them!
appearently jay has puke parties at his home. how awesome!
awesome night...kudos to carlo lio and jonny white for great opening sets. peace division were spot on. i was worried they were gonna take it in an uber wierd tech direction. but they suprised me and rocked it with groovy tech that had substance. track of the night for me "tout va bien" by Mattias Meyer.
respect to jazz and the no.19 crew for putting together a solid jam.

Good God I have a headache but surprisingly I do remember all of last night and it was good times.
The last 30 minutes of the Wine show was a complete mess. Since we didn't think we were drunk enough we did shots of Petron and then moved on to a bunch of cheap $1 Yellow Tail tasters and made our way over to FW. The short trek over to FW was complete shambles and somehow took us a lot longer to get there than it should have.
FW was empty when we got there but filled up nicely but was never too packed. Carlo and Jonny had good opening sets from what I remember (this is where my memory is a bit fuzzy) but the crowd seemed to be having a good time. Peace Division came on and while I don't think it was anything special it was a fun and techy set which did have some crowd jumping going crazy moments. I did prefer Justin Drakes parts of the set.
All in all good times were had by all.

+ Johnny White played a pretty damn good warm up set imo.
+ Good tunes from Peace Divison. Very bumpy tech.
+ Vibe was def there. Even though the crowd was rather...
-...interesting. Pretty douchey at times, but met some cool people too so it wasn't a complete loss.
- Peace Division can't mix for shit.
I personally thought Peace Division were pretty boring, but I still had a fun time.
$1 Yellow Tail is the devil. *shakes head*

Omg that was awesome. I was also expecting some uber weird tech, but was pleasantly surprised by the bumpy grooves...I only spent 40 bucks at the bar cause I couldn't leave the dancefloor, wewt! Lotsa fun!
Wow!
I can't beleive all the negative comments.
I had an amazing time! The music was great!
I arrived early and it wasn't very busy but holy crap, footworks filled up. In fact i havent seen it that busy in a while.
I was expecting more minimal but as stated above it was more bumpy tech vibe. Perfect for dancing!
Glad to those who had fun.
also
the brunette on the far left, RAWR. (I rarely do this but this is a huge exception...) lol.
