2012 (the movie)

Short but intriguing!

The director is Roland Emmerich, yes, that's the guy who brought us the wonderful masterpieces Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow.

I don't have Quicktime, but I guess it's this one:

How dare they use the music from the Shining trailer!? I hate this movie already.

From the previews, it just looked like Day After Tomorrow 2...which I guess would make it The Day Following the Day After Tomorrow.

This guy just never gets tired of sinking his teeth into apocalyptic cinema. I expect a calculated and foreboding build up, lots of single scene characters, and ultimately a reasonably satisfying movie.

No, no, it's the guy who did Independence Day, who also was the assistant Key Grip to 10,000 BC.

Posted by TranceGiant on Nov-24-2008 07:01:

Small reminder: The director of this film is also responsible for Independence Day as well as, as reliable sources tell me, The Day After Tomorrow.

Oh, and for non-believers, a nemesis-class asteroid will be passing close-by to the Earth around 2012 which, given certain incalculable variables (namely the arc provided by Jupiter's gravity), could be pulled directly into Earth's trajectory

CHEERS!
