should i start watching "Lost" ?
i've never watched this show except for a total of maybe 10 minutes since the day it started. I see now that it's on the SciFi channel and not much else is on TV at the moment. Should i try to get into it? Is it really a great show? thnx guys.
No.
ninja: ehh i shouldn't threadshit. its decent, yeah. wouldn't say its that amazing, but its definitely decent. Personally i'd say catch up on some older classics if you haven't seen them, twin peaks i would highly recommend.
yeh i figured ...
Yeah i would recommend it but if your going to start watching you need to start at the beginning. Its not really a show you can pick up. Once you do you will probably be as hooked as i am. Plus you have the added bonus of not having to wait 4 years to get to the 5th series.
By all means Lost is not a bad show, it's just not as good as the hype makes it out to be. At this point, I would honestly say just pass it up.
Lost is pretty cool. I say do it.
i bought the 1st season to see wtf the big deal was...
and I HATED IT!
I recommend : BattleStar Glactica , Sopranos , The Shield , Rome , Prison Brake
lost is awsome
i watched all 4 seasons in about 2 weeks through abc.com
bad-arse, you get sucked in if you're a sucker to mysterious shows
They should have kept the show at two, three seasons tops.
Now it's turned into more of a soap opera than a quality show.

yeah no
I'm waiting for the series finale before I get into it (if I ever do), so I can just pick up the DVD's and begin from square one.
I catch some segments episodes here and there, but it becomes quite apparent by my not understanding anything that's going on that I've missed way, way too much to start watching.
it got crap sometime during season 3 imo.
watch The Wire.
id put my dick in a box instead.

Whenever my friends are watching Lost, and I take a look at the screen, I keep saying "...I thought they were on an Island?"
Followed by them rolling their eyes, yelling "could you just start WATCHING it?" I don't think any of them want to explain it to me at this point.
just watching BSG S3 all over again
can't wait for the final few eps
Never seen it. I've decided to give up on the only show I really watched religiously, which was 24.
wut is battlestar galactica? any good?

a lot of the guys in my work love that battlestar. i quite fancy it. Currently watching the sopranos which is just fucking amazing, if you've never seen twin peaks that is just class as well.
It depends...some people like it and some people seem to hate it. One thing I've noticed is that most (and by most, I mean 9 out of 10) people who voice their hate for the show have never seen a full episode before or never began watching the show from the first episode in the first place.
I began watching around the time Season 3 ended. A friend of mine kept telling me to watch it so I watched the pilot on the internet and was hooked. I went on and bought the S1 DVDs the next day and watched those like in a week or so. I immediately went to buy the S2 DVDs the next day and the same with S3. I religiously downloaded the S4 episodes as soon as they hosted them on Ninjavideo.net (awesome site btw). I've recommended the show to several other people and not a single one of them has said "I fucking hated it". They all got as hooked as I got.
I don't know if you're going to enjoy it or not, but experience tells me that you most likely will. So I say go out and rent S1 and see for yourself
