My mate has one of these.. but it's the bigger brother...

Excellent bit of kit! Probably equivalent to a Xone 92/Ecler Evo5..

price is too much

There are about a dozen different "what mixer should I buy" threads in this forum, and about 10,000 reviews for DJ mixers online.

So which are you - bored, or lazy?

Posted by tintin11 on Nov-26-2008 16:20:

If you're just getting into mixing the 32 is fine, its more then you need. Only thing that's disappointing is the auxiliary routing on it (for efx units). The auxiliary feed is dependent on each of the channels linear faders, only way to get by this is to use the crossfader which is brutal.

Anyone know of a way to get by this problem, I've been too lazy to think of rerouting ideas.

never say too much...the more you pay, the more a mixer does for you and the more you have time for things like fist pumps and pointing.

for instance the 92 also makes coffee and teaches you how to use the ta search function.

roffleskizzurs thx for the help all

Posted by wing on Nov-27-2008 23:30:

alright well i'll purchase a xone 92 in the future once i have all my equipment down. i just need a simple cheap mixer to get starteddddddddd. anyone know of a good beginning mixer?

Personally, I find the Realistic line delivers a lot of bang for the buck. No EQs, but you get FOUR mic lines!

If you want to step it up a notch, you might consider Pyramid as an option. I couldn't find a picture, but I think it's the model just above the one pictured below that features on-board effects. You haven't rocked the crowd until you've layered an ambulance siren or a "pew-pew" laser sound on top of that track you're rocking...

Hope this helps in your search.

To clarify:

Ecler 2.0 (the point 0 is the new model)

NICE little mixer.
