CDJ 800 broken - $400 repair
Xone:3D broken because some fuck at A&H gave me the wrong firmware to update with - Warranty ended, no idea how much repair costs
Macbook laptop keys stopped working - Warranty ended.
next all i need is the rest of my gear to break, maybe my imac to fry
shit, i can't even afford to get myself a 20$ gift for christmas and i sure as hell can't afford to replace/repair any of this shit here.
guess i fail at the holidays this year
My plan is coming together nicely. 
I went without a cdj for almost a year.. deal with it 
went with out my laptop for 6 months or so.
fuck even if i repair the CDJ i can't do shit, i can't play without a mixer. I've been playing digital and now, i can't even do that

I don't use it to its full ability and the internal sound card gave me a few glitches but other than that = pwn
jupiterone: open up the machine, and find the flash chip. Then just find a company that you can order a new one with firmware on it pre-flashed.

i'll sell you one of my CDJ 800s for $300
Had my 1 year old laptop die, or at least mother board was compeltley fucked. So decided to get a macbook pro and no longer deal with the hassle of pc. Had my new macbook pro for 3 weeks and died at my first gig with it. By died i mean white screen of death...lost my productions everything. Took a week to convince Apple to pay for an hour of data recovery. Took them 2 months to tell me they couldnt recover it. Massive fail there haha.
Though feel your pain dude...you know what could make you some money quick. Crack, just get a few hooked and youll be good on income.
Or could always sell the good ole baby batter to sperm banks.
Two of my three CDJS have the same problem as you, so I'm stuck running on one CDJ + Serato. I can still spin just fine, but I don't expect the final CDJ to go for another year.
i'm thinking of selling mine, but i'm not sure yet.
