A FUTURE CLASSIC........perhaps - An attention seeking thread title!?

Now you lads and lasses are pretty mature musically and open to hearing new stuff.id like you to take 5 and listen to the following track on my myspace page at the moment its produced by a young lad aged 20 on the South Coast of England who says hes mainly making dubstep, techno and experimental tracks.

He has released two dubstep remixes of prog house tracks by Nomad In The Dark and Silinder underhis eleven8 eleven8 guise of Silinder's.

He also records under the name Red Button Blue Button the track in question is called "Sunshine" and id like you to take a listen and give any feedback.

- Original Drum & Bass Version

-The Ambient version which is now available on this compilation...

Remixes - prog, tech, trance, house, techno are all in the pipeline for its full release date TBC.

Wrapped In Plastic (Coldtap Recordings)2005

I like, not a classic though.

Posted by Fledz on Nov-27-2008 04:33:

I really doubt it. I like it, but there's nothing special or standout about it.

thanks for that reply yes im talking about the tracks RedButtonBlueButton "Sunshine" the track on the mini myspace player.the producer is a young lad from the uk who has yet to release a track and i put this thread up so interested may listen and maybe comment one way or the other.
Its not trance or progressive house but remixes of this in many formats are being arranged now and should provide something for everyone.

Posted by DaveT on Nov-27-2008 09:32:

Wow, this track is well done. You can feel the emotion in it.

I could see some great remixes across all ranges if you can get some good talent to do them..

Was that sarcasm? I'm real bad at catching sarcasm . But any way i'm guessing your for real. I can't wait for that track to be released if so.

No sarcasm was intended was just commenting on the negativity shown earlier but its a free world (sort of)

the track willbe released Spring/Summer 09 in time for festival season

Posted by Unable on Nov-27-2008 12:58:

Ok.

Posted by PETRAN on Nov-27-2008 18:22:

Nice track. I'd like to see more people creating quality non-dance electronic music like this.

Posted by r5a on Nov-27-2008 19:08:

Yea I love the melody and emotion you can hear in this tune, really really nice.

This reminds me of a chilled out version of M83.

Nice tune.

Posted by Trance-M on Nov-27-2008 19:52:

Nice, I like piano's.

But personally I probably would like a dance remix more.

Classic? Doubt it. But why aiming that high?

It's actually fucking sick.

...and it's not by "norman-h" either. why not just link to the artist's page itself?

i stumbled upon his stuff on last.fm a few months ago.

edit: for some reason the piano reminds me of the track between stations by recue, which i actually like better.

Posted by Soeder on Nov-28-2008 01:09:

I'd probably enjoy it more if it was pitched down a bit, but god stuff nonetheless.

A lot of responses have been of that same vibe.

We've had a stack of enquiries about it already and to think he was going to discontinue making this stuff.
