Nice night. Pretty good turnout! I have a video or two that I'll post up soon

Well Martin Roth made me move like no other dj has this year. which actually wasn't surprising-I've been a close fan of his nu style productions and his shockwave session sets, so I kind of knew what to expect. I've only been waiting to see this guy live, and boy did he deliver. I got there at 12:30 so I only got a 90 minute set by him..but that 90 minutes easily makes the best set I've seen in 2008. A powerhouse of a set and unique, as phoenixbebe said. the kind of pumping, rocking edm that just puts the dance in you whether you're sitting still or driving. his set whet my apetite so much that I lost the vibe when he left. with that build-up he did, no one else could have picked up where he left off except for roth himself. maybe that's why it really, really felt like m.i.k.e. should have been opening for him and not the other way around, no offense to m.i.k.e. Roth's set was refreshing compared to all the same-sounding sets of avb, kyau, ronski speed & such recently, of which I've been getting very bored. anyone with a good ear for the music will recognize that the man has a vibe/style of his own with the tracks he plays and the mixing etc.
I got there early for Keryn's set but missed it, sorry Keryn : ( I'm sure it was great. was also nice saying hi to dj Eco.

really hoping to catch more of this man very soon. now having said that, I guess I'll have to brace my speakers to pound some shockwave session sets tonight, hehe

it's time for some new styles like these to take over, add something fresh to the scene.

Wowowow!!! Amazing night... Was getting nervous about the turnout around 12:15, but then 10 minutes later, Martin played "Pjanoo" and people just seemed to materialize on the dancefloor out of nowhere and from that point on, it was a very dense crowd!!!! A lot of people were raving about the two DJs, the music last night was second to none. Martin had a blast and loves New York more and more each time he comes, and I'm pretty sure MIKE had fun as well. Having it at Webster Hall did a lot of good to this party I think. There was such a varied crowd of different people and I'm glad they got to experience good music. My little cousin had an amazing time, it was his first trance party, and he said he wants me to take him out more often!

haha awesome night. was nervous at the end cuz M.I.K.E. surprised me on the way out. i finally got the chance to have a little chat with him.

Back at Love i had like 10 vinyls of his for him to sign but last night i didnt have anything what a butthead I am. back in the day i used to know him through his music and never even fathomed actually meeting the guy that had so much of an influence on my production style. was truly an honor to be face to face with the midi master talkin bout all types of topics. awesome guy. clap... clap... clap...

For all the TAs i love fuckin around with you guys haha yo Big Mike wheres my drink???!!! LOLOLOL kiddin man

Keryn hell of an opening set you have to post that shit please with the tracklist if you can i love that dark deep progressive stuff. Reminded me of back in the day at Twilo with jimmy van m and sasha & digweed.

What a night

First off, thanks to all you guys for supporting the venue/date change. I know it's tough to rearrange plans for a night you'd had planned for weeks, and we really appreciate you guys following us to Webster last night. You guys rock

On to the dj's...

Keryn seriously played a phenomenal opening set. Like Rory said, a lot of really dark progressive stuff, and just great stuff all around. I never get to hear a full set of anybody in the crew, so I'm really pleased I got to hear this one. Awesome

Now Martin...WOW. I've heard Martin live once before, and he was good, but last night he was on a whole other level. One of my favorite sets all year. He really spanned all genres, and played them all really really well.

M.I.K.E. played great as always. Trancetastic...lol

Now earlier on in the night I was talking to Hai Lee about him closing after these monsters, and I said "better him than me"...and I meant it lol. Hai Lee played a really great closing set, and did a really good job keeping the energy up late night.

All in all, a really fun night

There's no doubt about that, the big room does Martin's set justice, and a bigger venue is always better. although love's sound system is solid.

sounds like keryn played a killer set..very much regret missing this one, esp if it's dark and progressive like jvm/sasha at twilo!

first off... thank you guys all for your support! we couldn't do a lot of this without your enthusiasm. great crowd and it was packed all night

Like Frank said, I rarely ever get to hear a full set by the members of our crew because we're usually running around... last night was great because i finally got to hear every single djs full set.

best part of the night was around 12:00 when some guy came up to the stage and yell to keryn "you rippin' it right now!" and she just bust out with huge smile and then started bopping and dropin' bass lines haha .... great moment.

Was very impressed with martin roth... i thought he would play more full on trance, but like I said when I was talking to alysa, he played a mix of prog and trance back and forth.. was very cool because the proggy stuff made the trance more explosive rather then just hearing trance all night.

M.I.K.E. always delivers and had some huge synths going on... loved it.

couldn't be happier with the night

I hate not being on my fuking name. Stupid ass mods.

It's MellyMel btw. For atleast a week until that name comes out of suspension.

Well Martin was awesome. Of course.

M.I.K.E - wow! The ending was magnifique!

Utah Saints - Lost Vagueness (I'm gonna guess M6 bootleg and not the original cuz it sounded too good to be a tune from 99)

AND FREAKING "FORMENTERA WHAT"!?!?! What a way to close the set. Love it. Had a blast with everyone. Good seeing one of my many fav Germans haha.

Good seeing everyone! Rock on.

Keryn is a little cutie but even hotter behind the decks - rawR!

i got there @ 12:20 and as i was walking upstairs i was telling my girl that martin was def on cause he was dropping dirty dark beats....it turned out that it was keryn saw her for about 10 mins for the first time and she was sick.... i def agree with frank....martins set was one of the best sets of the year..did not stop dancing for a second he never dissapoints....mike is mike.. you know what ure going to get. he played a sick remix of hide and seek and 9 minutes... oh and made of love which is one of my favorite songs of the year

the only thing bothering me is the amount of people that come to trance parties...i wis that same people who were at deadmau5 party was there last night

different feeling is such a sick song..... both djs played it...simon is def my favorite producer of the year.

i will agree with everyone here
all 3 dj's ripped it up hands down one of the best nights of music all year

keryn like everyone said alot of deep dark proggy stuff, i heard a few people talkin on the main floor sayin "this dj is ripping it up" while you were spinning, great opening set
martin came on and was a beast with more dark techy stuff i was deff feeling it great job martin
mike came on and started right where martin left off with some dark proggy techy stuff then out of no where he was playing some full on trancers i was in shock cause he never really spins like that out in clubs, but he said he was feeding off of the crowd
got to chat with mike after his set and he said he got alot of big things comming up in 09 so stay tuned

always a blast to hang out with all the ta's from danceing on the main floor or chatting/gettin into drunken shinanagans etc etc on the stage, it was deff a fun night all around
great music,great crowd,great friends,great time

p.s iam on a hunger strike till tranceaddict brings back mellymel

haha I keep getting banned. I'm gonna have to slap a bitch whenever I see her ugly cracker face.

Posted by ownymcown on Nov-30-2008 00:09:

Pretty sick night...

Keryn was indeed ripping it up, martin roth blew away my expectations and mike was enjoyable as expected.

highlight of the night was hearing radio crash

the crowd was pretty cool but it would have been nice if a bit more people were there, at one point in martin's set it filled up nicely but then dwindled down slowly.

im glad i decided to come out lol

Posted by chimera66 on Nov-30-2008 00:16:

del means serious business with your banishment.

i was throughly entertained last night. kerrine definitely a hot set, deep and dark it was ridiculous . martin roth and m.i.k.e. played awesome f*ckin sets and i'm waiting to see if the sets will be uploaded for dl because i'll be listening to those sets for weeks to come . unfortunately missed out on hai lee's set (getting old and tired i guess) but i know without a doubt you closed out the night proper.

track of the night goes to...
simon patterson - different feeling

as always great times hanging out with everyone

Posted by trancintaiwan on Nov-30-2008 00:44:

my favorite set of the night went to keryn. i really liked the beats she was dropping. it was a great setup to martin.

thanks to core again for bringing me out. it was fun getting back on the decks again.

Posted by EliPsE on Nov-30-2008 04:49:

Last night was exactly what I needed. Great talking to everyone all night. I'm the one with the Ta Photo. I have to check if it came out ok.

Posted by StarSoprano426 on Nov-30-2008 07:08:

Oh man guys! Great job Core!!! I'm so glad I was able to make this You have no idea how unpleasant I had to be at work for me to get out of there, lol. What a great end to Black Friday.

Core... you know I love you guys And I can't even begin to tell you how impressed I've been with you all lately. Everything you've been doing has been a resounding success.

I didn't get there nearly as late as I thought I was going to, maybe around 1? I forget. Anyhow, Martin Roth was on and I really enjoyed what he was playing. It was perfect for me, not too trancy That was the first time I had seen him. I had gone to Avalon last Thanksgiving Eve, but I had gotten there after Martin had finished I believe. M.I.K.E. was lovely as always.

What a wonderful time hanging with everyone. I'm looking forward to seeing the group photo. Great idea whoever came up with that, was it Gabe?

Again, awesome job and big props to Core! <3 you guys!! WH has redeemed itself from the other night thanks to you.

Definitely one of the better parties of this year. Webster Hall really gave there sound system a boost. Although it was too loud for some of you, I thought it really added to the party.
