because they look really tired/bored and are suppose to be the certer of entertainment for the people who paid the cover charge to come into the club for the purpose of being entertained

Also, Fridays at TIL sure went back to being a dbag crew. Guess the electronic crowd got tired of it there.

i dunno but i think a dj entertains by playing music not to put on a show like an actor.

i would much rather see a dj that plays a good set than a dj that sucks and acts like a monkey.

I dunno about you, but when most people pay to see a DJ they pay to hear them spin, not to see how well they can dance around and entertain the crowd while DJing. That's just an added bonus.

you guys took my post way too seriously

Just out of curiosity, do people ask you to take pictures of their boobs, or do you just do that yourself?

i put her right in front of me and i fixed her top a little before i took the shot. i dont know if that counts as asking.

obviously the music comes first.... but it really kills my buzz when the DJ isnt even moving to his own tunes...

I find the DJs movements almost dictate the mood of the crowd. Look at Deko-ze for example, every time he is spinning everyone seems to be having a great time, regardless of his mixing/track selection!

i actually like to concentrate while im mixing makes for smoother mixes and transitions. i dont know how many ppl enjoy trainwrecks but i dont.

my comment wasnt a directed @ you....

just a response as to why I think DJs in general should 'get into the groove' and just show a bit of emotion as the crowd usually feeds off that as opposed to standing there like a statue like Digweed does...

Personally, I just like the see the DJ enjoying himself and having a good time as opposed to looking like he is just doing a job. Happy DJ = Happier crowd
