Free mastering offered!

Hi fellow addicts,

Today, I found out that I find mastering a track really one of the greatest things to do. And doing it only on my tracks, isn't getting me really better, so.... I need some practice.

Most of the time, people comment me on how about my tracks are mixed and mastered. I even get request from friends to help me out with there mastering.

This message regards any type of music. If you know - for example - a rockband that has some issues with there mixes, let them contact me, I am offering my services for free!

I may take you up on this offer in about a week or two...

how long does it usually take you to master your own tracks?

Will have to take you up on the offer.

I think it will take me a day or two to complete a track.
Do bare in mind that - to get the best results - I need a wav or aiff of every single track that you use in you song that has to be mastered.

@palm, I do not use any special programs to master.

Well, yeah, sort of. But it is to get the best results.

And why do you want to know my setup (it is in the studio picture thread btw), but it's not about the setup, it's on how you use it.

Wouldn't mind hearing a before/after example of someone's track you've done.

LOL why? It's free. You can't lose anyway.

I've checked one of the Theran tracks in the music productions forum and I think that the track needs some more work in terms of mixing & post-processing. Then again, he's posting this because of the learning process, right?

Sure, that's no problem. Only problem is, I don't have an unmastered track yet.
As said in the begin post, I am just starting with this, but I think I'm doing pretty well on my own tracks.

That is because the track is still in progress....

I wasn't really concerned with "losing", I was just wondering if he had an example handy to satisfy my own selfish curiosity.
