Seuil - Double Room EP [Moon Harbour]

1. Double Room
2. She Percs Me
3. No Time For Love

This is so fucking good. This is exactly what I want to sound like right now.

yes...very yes.

i dunno from the samples it sounded pretty empty

Posted by bas on Dec-02-2008 03:19:

She Percs Me = the darkness. So nice.

Listen closer, theres so much shit going on in Double Room

I bought "No Time For Love". It fits well with my earlier in the night stuff

I love when someone can put out an EP that's very consistent, yet still has tracks varied enough to fit with several different styles. Sign of a solid producer imo.

Really nice, loving all these.

Posted by jupiterone on Dec-02-2008 05:07:

double room is fucking creepy. no time for love is my favorite though

i'm with you on this one clovis, great sound.

is it just me or would no time for love go wicked well mashed with st. germain - rose rouge (rhadoo)?

Posted by JD on Dec-02-2008 05:36:

all 3 are great

Moon harbour is always solid. This one and the previous martinez release are both excellent

Posted by nefardec on Dec-02-2008 17:37:

not sure about these... i crated A1 but these are all pretty trendy and generic

i mean they will do the trick, but they will only ever be tricks.

*edit - listened again today and was bored. solid groove but very forgettable tracks. no emotional content, no atmosphere.

but i like seuil's other work and i will wait to pass any more judgment until after i hear better samples

Pretty generic & bland tbh, doesn't stand out from alot of the throwaway tech-housey records being released nowadays.

Seems not spectacular, but nice. From the samples I like "No Time For Love" most.

Listening to double room in full now after buying. Y'all naysayers are crazy. This will do nicely when well placed in a set.

yeah i have no doubt about that, it's just that it's not something i can see myself playing in 2 months even. i'd love to hear it in someone else's set, but i personally try to buy music that I will enjoy for a long time, and i think ill get bored of this.

Posted by Clovis on Dec-04-2008 03:40:

I get bored of some of the stuff I play out, a lot of it actually, but I think thats just part of dance music. Some of the stuff is useful only in very specific conditions, but I like to have it anyway.

I agree with nefardec- everything here is more or less a solid, pleasant listen, but I have a strong sense of none of this possessing much extended listening life with me.

On that note, I also agree with Clovis, in that I would simply like to have some of this, and for that reason, I'm crating 'She Percs Me.'

this is just terrible

Posted by enydo on Dec-04-2008 17:42:

Then go put the 2009 Trance Energy anthem back on repeat.

Posted by GoSpeedGo! on Dec-04-2008 17:45:

I'm seriously tired of this sound.

'No Time For Love' is the best of the bunch.

monotony - this is the word that expresses my feelings about this release perfectly...
