moby as a dj?

is he any good as a dj? some friends were telling me he was really good at demf 2008. his commercial music is not really my style, but anyone know about his live sets?

do yourself a favor and catch him if you can, definitely one of the best shows this year at Vision.

Posted by whupassbeer on Dec-04-2008 07:14:

yeah i'm really interested to check him out, since i've heard he plays most of his techno stuff from his self titled album, and all other kinds of remixes of everything. anyone know where i can get his livesets? or am i not allowed to ask that on this forum due to copyright reasons...

Check this out!

i saw him and sander van doorn together with moby as the opening dj.

he was great!!

he kept the energy level way up above what he produces and included a lot of cool updated remixes of his songs as well as some classics.he tends to play stuff that everybody knows so if your looking for someone that plays more obscure tracks he aint it.

nevertheless id go see him again in a second! had a lot of fun!

i'll definitely check him out in detroit next year.

He was fantastic at Meltdown in Dallas. Was pleasantly surprised

It's really hard for me to imagine someone I dislike more than Moby. That said, he destroyed the main stage at DEMF this year.

yeah seriously how can you dislike an artist like moby, to me he's one of the most diverse artists out there.

I like No Doubt so I was happy about it. aha!

I think he worked with Britney Spears too? that I don't care for, but I would never shun him as a person just because he might make a decision I don't agree with. But, of course I wouldn't expect you or anyone else to agree w/ me.

my bad. I assumed it was because of something he may have said or done to you or someone else you know. I take it back.
