Its a sad day for us, Polish ppl around the globe, , hopefully the team can bounce back and win the remamining two games, I know it will be tough, but I believe in our White Eagles, .

For me it was no surprise. They almost tied with France, and could have won. I guess they are so motivated to play at home, this is helping the team.

Great match from the korean! Guus Hiddink is a star now there... I think they can go till the quarter finals coz this team is the best asiatic one IMO!

Amazing game played by the Koreans.... and all of the asian teams for that matter. I guess PELE was right when he predicted the rise of African & Asian nations in the Futbol world.

Lets bring some history to this. I think it was in 1990 when Argentina lost the first game but went all the way to finals, who knows maybe that will happen again tho not for Argentina cause they won the first match but for Poland. Portugal isn`t that tough just have to play fast counter attacks or take out Figo out of the match, I mean cover him well. And about the quarter finals and Korean team gettin I`m not so sure about that.

heh thanks for the congrats!..truly happy though out of 4 worldcup appearances this is the first time they win..
hiddink had a lot to do with it..i agree
i admit korea vs. portugal the best they could do is tie! and that even would be amazing..
though i say we are going to kill the u.s...!
home field advantage wow that was amazing..when you see the whole damn stadium in red singing the national anthem..what a beauty
it was so moving and it sent chillds down my spine..
being korean i was truly proud!

though japan did well against belgium...

Hold everything guys...Portugal lost to USA. This means that anything can happen. Poland is a great team. They did beat S. Korea once
5-0. Imagine playing against the host nation with 50,000 fans cheering against you. It's kinda like playing at Wembley Stadium where England has an impressive record, with the exception of their friendly match loss to Holland. I still can't believe Holland's not in. I don't think I'll ever let that go. Of all the times Poland didn't make it, I guess you can say I was rooting for Holland. Now it's vice-versa, go figure.

Poland has a tough upcoming schedule. You can bet that Portugal will play better than they did against USA. One more thing, USA is not a team to be taken lightly anymore. Poland will have to play the way they did in WC qualifying to at least tie or beat both Portugal or USA. Otherwise, they have no chance. Nevertheless, I still have my Polish Pride. Lates//

fact is Poland played like skool boys that game i was totally disappointed with there movement of the ball..first 10 mins they played were great, then they started playing like shit surprise-surprise, but Korea did a good job of covering our "Nigerian" striker, which made it effective for them. everything is possible in soccer, Portugal lost to USA, which i think is totally pathetic. we'll see this monday wat happens
