Installing Reason Without Cd

Can somebody tell me how to do this?!

I have the 16 MB installation Files, and the 520MB Soundbank File....

How do i install......

Unfortunately u need to make a cd or else u just cant do it.
What u do is put the soundbank file on its own on a cd labeled 'soundcd' without the quotes of course.
Its been ages since i done this so i dunno if this is the exact right way to do it. The bit before this is all 100% correct but its the installation im having trouble remembering. Anyway it should work:
Run the install program and when it asks for the cd say no ull do it later. Then when its installed put the cd in and run reason, it should start no probs. then copy the soundbank file to the reason directory and u wont need to use the cd anymore.
Im almost sure thats how i did it. If that doesnt work then run the install again but put the cd in when it asks for it.
Try the first way first.
Anyway, cd writers arent that expensive nowadays, nowhere near the price of reason anyway lol
But fruity is better, if uv already got that theres not much point in using reason. The sequencing in reason is unbelieveably awkward. And im not even gonna start on those bloody drum machines lol

you can do this without burning the soundback file to a cd labelled "soundcd".

Install reason, get crack for it.

Now there are something called Virtual Drives...... My friend used this for warcraft 3, there is some proggies out there that can emulate a cd drive or a floppy or whatever. this program emulates a drive so it will be there when you open up My computer.

What you can do with this is tell the program what files there is supposed to be on this drive. So you tell it to get the soundbank file from wherever it is and when reason looks for it in the cd drive it will go to the virtual cd drive and find the link to where the soundbank is and presto ;-D

Unfourtuantly i never used this (Ive seen it work tho), so i cant link you to a site, but as soon as my friend gets online ill ask him .

I have noticed this on the demo. But it looks like reasons samples and shit are waaaaaaayy better.

Excuse me but yes you have to spend money to make money. But i know these guys and they produce free music for you guys to download. And good stuff it is too.

Now i am damn sure you are probably are the kinda person who will download music instead of buying it. So you can shut it as well. And i am also sure you have probably cracked some software, or not payed for something.

If you think about it, downloading mp3s should be classified as warez. im not talking about label companies who want their mp3s to be freely downloaded by anyone, but labels who dont want people to listen to their music unless paid for. honestly, i know everyone on this website didnt pay for all their 1000 some odd mp3s they have stashed in their hard drives or cds. if this thread should be shut down, this whole website should be shutdown (not that i would like to see it)...we are telling people whats new, whats hot and what sounds good and most of all, where to download for free. this is the reason why the RIAA is on AGs ass (Although AG in my eyes is legit). If you dont want warez to be announced on forums..thats great, good for you...but just to let you know...youre one of us...

I doubt any of these virtual drive programs would work, altho u might have a chance if u made a cd image without actually making a cd and loading the image into a virtual drive.
It would be worth a try if u really wanted reason.

Ok guys you made a point, I'm a dj, I dl live sets and singles and if there is any good stuff in it, I go and order them in my local vinyl store so the author gets what he has deserved for all his work. About software I think I flamed a bit too easy, sorry about that.. In my opinion you may download software as much as you want in order to try and test it and see wether you like it or not.. I dl cracked software as well too and if I liked it I'm gonna buy it as soon as I can but I want to make clear that there are a lot people who forget the last part and that you miss a LOT if you don't buy the software (manuals, updates, ...) Just my opinion.

I know the life of a student is hard.. drinking beer all the time and going to partys, buying vinyl and also buying equipement so I understand you till a certain extend but I just wanna say, if you really liked the software and you made some good stuff with it, don't forget to order it.

If someone said, "Here's a link to the warez...enjoy", that is wrong for TranceAddict, because then it's a warez link site. but this is just information on how to work the warez, not how to get it.
