made in U.S.A.

Just a little reminder that since we all will be spending a bit more this month on holiday gifts and such, it would be really if we all could make a point to shop for american made products. Our economy is hurting. It would be smart of us to put our money back into our own economy this holiday season, and advise others to do the same.

that is all,
cheers

like buying american cars?

Posted by andrewyates on Dec-05-2008 02:34:

I was at the LA auto show last weekend. Hyundai was next to Chevy..and had probably 100 people browsing their cars. there were maybe nine people in the Chevy section, and five of them were looking at a ZO6! Pretty sad.

Watch a football game, lexus has 232321 ads running on a Lexus for xmas. This simply reminds me why i don't have TV

Weak

I guess they are trying anything to get them off the lot since no one is buying...

I would be glad to buy an American made product if only i could find any...
I was at the local Target today and i did not find one single item made in the USA. Everything was made in China.

Posted by R!CH on Dec-05-2008 06:48:

i'm gonna stick to buying the product that fits my needs best. i am not entirely on board with things being made in america, making products is a very dirty (industrial) process. let other countries do it. and please people, stop buying junk you know is going to be tossed in a few years.

It's not easy unless you are buying food, trucks, planes, drugs or weapons.

On the cars aspect, most of you fail to mention that most of the cars sold in the US, including Toyotas, BMW, Honda, Nissan, etc, are manufactured in the US! Parts aren't necessarily, but the rest of the car is!

Posted by mattW on Dec-06-2008 05:08:

We live in a strange place. As I was driving down the street today I was looking at how many stores SELL something - but how few MAKE anything. Costco is filled with shit made somewhere else. No wonder so many people are out of work, no one is making anything. Lol. Corporations looking for profits at our expense. We all have to go along with it. It gets worse every year.

Will Obama be able to fix any of this, or is it so out of control it will never get any better?
