I don't really want to name names, for fear of leaving someone out.

Lots of talent in these forums.

Can't we start like a 'tranceaddict' record label?

Seriously, we can take this site and all the talent on it and turn it into some kind of lucrative business plan. =]

I think this is a really worthwile thread, congratualations Airwalker, I might actually consder unignoring you.

I think we all know that if we start naming names we'll forget some people, so please don't be offended if I forget you, theres just so much talent on here its hard to list it all.

That said, I think that Manvel Ter-pogosyan, Dimlicht zodiac9, David Michael (the snark) and Nefardec (avana) are all the goods. Theres a lot more, but off the top of my head, I think they've produced some good stuff recently. Like I said, I'm sure I'll add more as they come to me.

Icone & Onova's material. Big supporter of their stuff.

I liked Mystery's earlier trancier material from perhaps 2-3 years ago. Lots of other too but I'm too hungover to keep typing.

Posted by jupiterone on Dec-06-2008 15:33:

lots of talent on here that should be making it without a doubt, and i'm sure some will

but some to mention

mr. rogers (clean, professional, skull fucking sound)
jive bo jingb0z (overall great guy, great sound, i expect an ambient album NOW)
******** (seriously fantastic arrangement and sound, wanted to remix one of his tracks but lost the parts)

don't want to feel like leaving people out but it doesn't matter if you get named here or not, chances are if you're good and dedicated you'll get to where you want

well im glad we are on the same page. because it felt like to me the producers here wasn't getting much/any attention unlike the dj's.

and this tread was not ment to miss anybody out far from it in fact. i was hopeing to keep it going for long as possable.and maybe incourage ta producers to pull together.and see what we can come up with?

sounds like a awsome idea and would love to see that come into play

Many people have thought of it, nobody's ever done anything.

i think the only real problem with this idea is thier may be many diffrent people with diffrent ideas that can cause issue's. unless some one steps up and creates a ta record label or something to that affect.

Posted by jupiterone on Dec-06-2008 16:03:

sounds like it'd be the next ultra records to be honest, which is not a good thing

there is too much dispute between what is good music and what is bad music on this board for a label of such sorts to function properly in my opinion

It doesn't make sense at this point in any case.

Very true.

A shame really when you think of some of the people that have posted over here in the past few years before getting signed.

John O'Callaghan, Endre, Icone, MK-S, Jussi Pollet, Haak, Luke Terry etc. etc.

I think the only working way would be a free netlabel of some kind. Similar to the MPP forum now but more organized.

i guess it's a case of who is willing to find the time and make the effort in order to set things up.

What I think is more of a shame is that a lot of those guys who used to regularly post here, disappeared the second they got signed/got big.....with a few exceptions of course.......

Actually, I should have mentioned beforehand as it was a really good remix, but your take on that Evanescence track still gets regular play here

i guess it's only normal to live the high life once you reach the top.

Well, yes and I'm sure they don;t have as much time to spend on forums either, but some still manage where as other just don't give a shit.

joel (the Mau5) still manages to post here and there and he's got to one of the busiest people in the industry at the moment?

Posted by airwalker1 on Dec-06-2008 22:38:

i see the point your making only some people may not give two shits even before they hit the high road. least off all when they are big.

pointless being up your own ass, only producers dont get much of the high life compared to the dj's imo
