fucking ridiculous!!! that was probably the best 5 hour set i've heard in my life! banged the shit out of roseland alright...5 hours of bangin' trance...the acoustics were much better than they were on halloween...
i just wish he didn't encore so much...and i got pissed off at the way he ended lol...but otherwise...brilliant!!!
I'm curious - was the "hook" that it was off of - was it industrial size, average size or your regular fishing hook size? See, it's quite important because no two hooks are the same and saying something like "it was off the hook" is completely irrelevant until one can visualize aforementioned hook.
Hook pics or STFU is what I'm sayin...
lol @ both review threads being created at the same time
i died when he played nothing but you!
fun show overall, sound was good, mixing was good, crowd was small which is always good, and its always nice to see paul in top form!

yea he played crush and tool 200 times each. get a life
i posted a review on the other thread but ill post here too, haha. wow i cant believe im soo awake and feeling good. hmm maybe going sober IS the way to go from now on =)
got to say it again, no expectations, but when i first walked in the door, Jason was on top of his game and never stopped BEST OPENING SET I HAVE EVER HEARD FROM HIM!
anyway PVD did redeem himself from the Pier and ill acknowledge that his events are energetic and a great time. I still stand firm on my tastes in edm tho, his sets have become way too predictable for me now, mostly bangers that have become mainstream (vocals, hard basslines) cuz its what MOST ppl want to hear (i guess? and we still roll our eyes when we hear them and go sit down. but there were some great moments too so i guess it is what it is
). I actually preferred MIKE and Martin Roth's show last week -- a much better show in terms of track selection and mixing - it was dark, banging, surprise after surprise plus some amazing uplifting diversified trance...i really wish more ppl had shown up to that show).
I'll say this tho, I'd still go out to see PVD once in awhile, as long as its not too pricey.

I was just upset by the fact that he did not come down to sign stuff like he always does after the show.
btw it was great talking to Jason after the show, really nice set by him as well, didnt get to hear all of it tho.
