Im Going To London In August!

Hello UKTA's I just need some info on whats happinin In london in august around the first 2 weeks? I have my really good friends in Norwich and they is gona meet me in London So only thing is I would like to know of any good things happinin when I go there, it doesnt really matter what it is, doesnt have to be a big event. may be you lot can tell me about some good clubs with lots of goodTribal/Progressive House and Trance. I also dont mind UK Garage and if not much is happinin in london can you please tell me about any other places I dont really care I will go out of london if I had to I have friends in Manchester and Oxford also

Well thanks for your help peeps, looking forword to get all the info I can from you lot and I wouldent mind meeting up with some of you TA's there also

If you like Garage, the London scene has everything for you. Shame it hasn't got much else. Ministry is garage every week I think, with trance occasionally.

Isn't the beginning of August when Creamfields is on in Liverpool? That might be worth the travel, depends if you like the lineup. From what I've seen it's mediocre.

Ok I'm a Londoner!!!!

It depends where you are staying, how long you have, what u wnat to do , adn how much money you have!!

1: if you are staying in greater london, say near Heathrow Airport, you'll be near the trains. They can take you directly into the Centre of London.

If you've never been to London, then you SHOULD go down Oxford Street, Picadilly Circus, Shaftesbury Avenue (especially in the Evening)

For shoppping for Casual CLothes, Visit Covent Garden, they have Records stores, loadsa shops, expecially a really good one, I forgoet its name, ... Cyberdog or something ?

Camden Town, as mentioned before, has a few record shops, but make sure it looks trance friendly before you go in!

For the expensive designer labels, Bond Street, New Bond Street, etc etc are near Oxford Circus.

For travelling around London, ask the cashier for a "One Day Travelcard" this is cheap, and entitles you to unlimited usage of our public transport (Trains, Underground (or MEtro to Europeans) and Buses)

I would not advise you to come to London during the 2nd to the 4th of June as its our Queens Jubilee celebration, and the whole city will be very crowded.

If I've missed something out that you want to know just ask!

best trance club in London = Peach @ the Camden Palace! (more like the only one)

Also GC is doing a monthly thing at Heaven too, but I haven't ahd time to check it out.

hating to make you sound extreamly thick, but isnt today the 5th of june, and hence aint the jubilee celebrations kinda over?

Gods Kitchen Global Gathering is at the end of july.. its near stratford (or is it stoke..?) and sports a very impressive line-up

at the end of each month is gatecrasher @ the republic in sheffield.

every friday in birmingham @ code is gods kitchen.. every saturday is sundissential HQ

first weekend in every month is sundissential north in leeds, which is held on a sunday 2pm - 2am. i will warn you now.. its mad in there

then theres passion in coalville (leicester)... slinky in bournemouth (and every month in bristol)

blah im not gonna name every club in the country lol
