wayback playbacks and party anthems...discuss.

they were playing some pretty good classic euro when i was in there. brought back fond memories of my gino days.

oh the gino days...they were great for everyone.
But will this work now?
is this what people want to hear?
will people be drawn to this room or repelled?
Should i bust out my the wax and rock the gino spikes once more?

always wanted to go to a wayback wednesday. tried once a couple years ago and didnt get there early enough. ended up at the activate chirstmas party for a very drunk night.

i know how many of you might be against this but every club changes things up every while. and when a venue such as guv has so many rooms it is good to have variety.

I agree....variety is the spice of life and as long as the Guv doesn't change the Main Room then I can only see these as positive changes. There is something for almost everyone now at Guv...and thats the way it should be with a club that has so many rooms.

I think this'll be really cool. You always hear about people wanting to hear old school sounds...so that's definitely a plus.

I just hope it's not all euro though. It'd be nice if it was a mix of old school house, trance and whatever else. Maybe not in one night...but you know.

it is supposed to be a mix of everything. they just happened to be playing euro when i was in there. it would've made my night if i heard some stevie b, nice&wild, debbie deb and shannon. maybe next time.

Personally I think it would be better if they had rotating nights or something. Like one night is old school house, the other old school trance, another old school tribal and so on. Then that way if you only like old school trance you're not stuck listening to a mix of all this other stuff you don't want to hear. But I doubt that would ever happen.

i think its a good idea. def a good business decision. will keep the club packed consistently
