Liquified future shows?

So who does liquified have in store for us beyond Satoshi Tomiie?
I know Devin usually posts the shows 1-2 months ahead, nothing yet. I'm kind of anxious

Posted by iammesol on Dec-09-2008 06:07:

There will be another Kompressed. <3

Posted by Seppuku on Dec-09-2008 07:12:

Was wondering the same thing..

I miss the massive shows the most like the tabernacle and NATC yes they are packed and crowed but are alot better now compared to opera.

Bring them back

After Satoshi we are taking 6 weeks off from Shows. Might possibly have 1 small show the last weekend of January but not sure yet. Come February we are back to the grind with a ton of shows, I count 7 in February alone.

We are also working on a big 8000 person show for may, we will start promotions on that come January but the headliners we already have booked for that are massive!

Kompressed will be back in late february early march and we are working talking about a little side project of Kompressed which will be called dekompressed that will focus more on downtempo/ambient/experimental stuff in obscure venues.

Thats it for now, I will probably announce a February 5th show sometime this week once the contracts are all signed.

Thanks for the update!

Sounds absolutely awesome.

New venue ?

Posted by iammesol on Dec-09-2008 18:39:

I appreciatez it.

Posted by Seppuku on Dec-09-2008 19:26:

Sounds exciting! The wait till Feb is going to kill, though.

Posted by trancension on Dec-10-2008 00:32:

I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL FEBRUARY?

ARE YOU SERIOUS?

DAMNITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!

I bet. Opera barely fits 1300 people. Only places I know capable of doing that capacity are Phillips Arena (too expensive to book for an edm show), gwinnett center, hifi buys amphitheatre, and north atlanta trade center.

Dekompressed has piqued my interest severely.

Posted by ZeeRobot1 on Dec-10-2008 04:32:

1800

Posted by iammesol on Dec-10-2008 04:49:

Is that counting when the 1300 people pay for VIP?

I'm just stating what they list as max capacity on event pages, they probably overfill it to 1800 or more during big events, that's why that place is packed like a sardine can for the popular dj's

Yeah that Dekompressed thing sounds awesome.

Same with that really large Liquified event, even if the headliners aren't people I agree with I could probably get a lot of my non-edm friends to come along.

I also just gotta say I really hope Digweed is coming through sometime soon, while he isn't really as relevant as he used to be he's still always been one of my favorites.

January through May will be pretty incredible if everything falls into place tomorrow.

Exciting.

I'm hoping for a few big Trance names to come through soon!

Same here. I'm hoping we have another visit from Armin. Ferry Corsten would be nice again. He seems to pass through at least once a year. Of course Above and Beyond is still high on my list. As long as we get some good trance djs, I will be happy.
This 8000 people event sounds really interesting. I can only think of one person who could pull that kind of crowd though and that is Tiesto and I don't even know if he could do that. Then again, you did say headliners, so if you get enough big names together there could be a big turnout. 8000 is just so much. This really interests me, but I guess trying to guess doesn't do any good.

So we will get an announcement for at least one of these shows soon?

Posted by Liquified on Dec-11-2008 18:03:
