Some may be interested, most probably won't
http://agreatchange.blogspot.com/
So, I'm unhappy with the direction of my life and the general state of it. I've decided to change things for the better, I started a blog to sort of chronicle my little experiment. If things do get better, I can look back on it and see how far I've come.
Figured some people might be interested in following along, and the rest of the posts in this thread will follow the typical COR formula.

I advocate the exercise part. Highly. It'll even help with your new job search. If you're bold try a new haircut as well.
A simple trick is to search online for male models (I'm serious), and find a certain look that you'd like to have (face it, they're models and they look better than you). Being better looking goes a long way when people make first judgments about you, and often times first judgments are all you're going to get. True, I live in Los Angeles and everyone here is a coke-addicted materalistic asshole, but I figure these people can be found everywhere.
Post pictures of yourself. A sort of, "this is where I'm starting" catalogue. Then keep at it. People love looking at what they're reading about: look at any magazine.
Also since this is in the COR: Go fuck yourself & bring me a Heineken.

You're not too-bad of a bad writer. Please, please, please though... Could you hit the spacebar once after every comma, and twice after every period? Dealing with a wall of un-formatted text can be confronting, especially if you don't have a huge motivation to read the random blog you've been directed to
I'm considering making a blog of my own too, for bird watching stuff.
I think it's mostly the font that makes it appear that close together. I always do one space after both comma and period. I've never had any complaints about it.
It's a awesome idea. I've been considering doing something very similar since my life has been stuck in a pretty massive rut the last 6 months or so, but sadly health issues are getting in the way of really fixing things up. Working on sorting those out though, small steps.
In fact we're both in almost identical situations, after finishing reading your first post. 19, stuck in a shitty town with a shitty job (or no shitty job in my case, since I quit aforementioned shitty job 2 months ago), issues with confidence and in vast need of some self improvement. Funny how that works.
