What have you lost that someone found and returned?
- wallet at a pizza joint was most recent thing.
I left my jacket with 80 dollars and a full pack of cigs in it at the Zone 5 years ago. Went back 17 hours later and everything was still there. That's probably the only time I've ever "lost" something.
edit: I think it was more like 13 hours. But the point is, it was all still there.
Wallet fell outta my purse at Parliament/Gerrard... got it back from the guy who found it and called the cops thinking something had happened to me...
Jail was a bitch, wish I could get my virginity back.
yeah, I had like $50 in my wallet too.
Desperate ppl do desperate thing sometimes so I may have taken that $50 during my university days if it were the other way around
Ive lost my wallet numerous times
Two times that come to mind:
At the Barrie bus terminal, I realized a day later and someone had turned it in
At the bank (last week) and someone turned it in... I didnt even realize that I had lost it.
Im always lossing things
Cell phone ..... i spaced it off somewere and someone called the "Home" number and got it back to me
My buddy's car got broken into in the parking lot couple blocks away from GUV and when we left guv in the morning we found that his driver side window was broken in pieces and my wallet was on teh ground split open with my CC cards still in there and all the papers and reciepts on teh floor as well, seems liek it was some kind of a crackhead who was looking for cash only not CC or anything else.
cellphone, on a boat
a girl i knew found it and gave it back
Of all the things I've lost in life, I miss my mind the most...
lost my lg chocolate phone at guv......phoned it couple times during the week, and a security guy gave it back to me....the night of ferry corsten on skybar.... was very thankful,..
Lost my wallet, and somebody returned it, money and bus tickets and all!
Left my prescription glasses on the TTC, and after weeks of waiting, and calling the lost and found, nobody returned them. Who the fuck keeps prescription glasses?!
i lost my wallet in a cab one drunken night. the driver ended up knocking on my door 2 days later when another customer of his found it jammed between the seat. of course by then i had already replaced and/or cancelled all the cards that were in there.
oh shit! i don't know how i forgot about this one.
when andrea and i were in ireland last year we flew over to scotland for a few days. on the flight back to ireland andrea left her purse under the seat in front of us. by the time we noticed (only about 15 minutes had passed) the plane had already boarded and was on it's way back to scotland. her purse had all our money in it and of course our passports.
the customer service lady at easyjet was nice but didn't get our hopes up of getting it back. she said she would do everything she could. she kept on talking about getting the "money" back but that wasn't what we cared about. we wanted our passports. during the next 24 hours we spent our time talking w/ easyjet in dublin and in edinburgh, talking with the canadian embassy in dublin to get emergency passport's (which still take a few weeks), and speaking w/ air transat to see what they needed to let us on the plane to go home. we also had phoned my parents and had them wire us some money for the remainder of our trip.
after getting nowhere dealing w/ easyjet over the phone we ended up driving an hour back to the airport and speaking w/ the same lady in person from the day before (we had to remind her of our situation as she didn't remember who we were at first). a colleague of hers that she used to work with happened to work at easyjet in edinburgh so she called her and had her do a thorough search for it. she ended up finding it with everything intact and had in sent to us on the next plane. we had it within about 2 hours of her finding it. they sent it over in an HP toner box and we just waited for it to come out to the baggage claim.
haven't really lost anything physical, except for $20 notes here and there
on a related note - I once found a medical bracelet on the bus.. called the 1800 number on it and they put me in contact with the girl who lost it... she has diabetes, and when she came to grab it of me, she said weirdly enough she started feeling a bit sick since she lost it and was worried to leave her house without it
felt really good to help someone like that!
wow, both good stories there.
Cell phone...at boom boom room. Someone returned it to the bar and I got it.
A pair of pants at a hotel once. They mailed them back to me. Ya...I dunno.

cell phone wasnt on the holster properly (oldschool motorola phone) and it fell to the ground. someone saw it fall and handed it back to me.
dropped my box of chocolates on the subway and someone kicked it out the door so the train wouldn't drive off with it stuck in the door.
was lucky... I like to keep the gifts I'm given during the holidays
My wallet.
my liver..
still looking
My wallet fell out of my coat pocket last year in London right outside the house. A neighbor found my business card in it and called me within an hour. So grateful.
lost my my tooth when i was around 9 or 10 skateboarding. I smashed my face on the ground after trying to grind a rail and chipped my tooth right off. couldn't find it to save my life. (got to love the dentist)
I dropped a half quarter outside Meadowvale Community center one time. One of my friends saw it on the ground, recognized the baggy and brought it over to my house for a kickin sesh. Good times.
