I finally feel like a true Torontian!

I moved to the city 2 and a half months ago but it wasn't until last night that I felt like a true Torontian!

Why?

My car was robbed right in front of my house between 1am-4am last night. The damage - at least 200 CDs + the two binders and a visor cd storage. Luckily most of them were burned CDs but it's still a kick to the dick.

Now you know better than to leave stuff like that in your car.

That stuff was always in my car, lol. Those were my car CDs.

Lesson learned regardless. Maybe I'll keep them in the trunk now.

Posted by DaRoZa on Dec-13-2008 01:01:

that sucks.. just be glad they were burned.. back in high school my buddy lost a binder with over 100 hip hop CDs collected from the preceding 15 years, stolen from his car right outside a house party.. i think he was in tears

Posted by Shaya007 on Dec-13-2008 01:55:

2001..LCBO parking lot near Guv...Total loss: $2500.00 CDS (All original) ask me to buy an original CD ever again!

2008...Loblaws parking lot near Guv...Total loss: $1500.00 Camera equipment

I think @ some point I should learn my lesson!

For the ones that are individual tracks I paid for almost all of them. The rest are mix cds by djs.

No mp3 player

Well hopefully you'll learn a big city lesson and not leave anything semi valuable laying out...

Get an mp3 player with an fm transmitter at the very least...

CDs in the car are so 2005...
