hey thank you very much the review i'll return the favor.

Starts out with a kick and some minor perc intro. The kick is a somewhat too heavy and fat sounding, my headphones doesn't tell me it's clipping but still too much low on it. 0:15 it enters some more percussion, which I think is pretty good, but should be mixed to a better sound quality. 0:30 The bass enters without the transition needed, you might want to cut the kick a little while before, do a minor break with the bass and the perc, and then run the kick back again. The bass is a little-bit to low on volume also. The bass opens the cut-off at 1:00, you hear when the bass-note goes together with the kick, it gets some minor problem...maybe add a minor side-chain compression on it...Then bass is also a little bit too to weak in it's character, try making the oscillator-sounds closer to synchronization so it will sound rounder and stronger. I like the effects you put on, and the minimal melody of the bass and that layer on top of it is ok, but should be a little more crazy and unpredictable. For this kind of track I would vary the ends of the melody pattern more so it wont be so dull in the long run...

To make you an advice if you like producing more tech-ish tracks, remember to put more swing on it. It could be done if you have a so-called shuffle-tweaker in your daw, or you should cut your grid in 64ths and make it like this:

64ths |O---|-0--|0---|-0--|O---|-0--|0---|-0--|
if you want a quicker roll in the notes with that style of swing you do like this:
64ths |O---|-0--|0--0|-0--|O---|-0--|0--0|-0--|

This sounds pretty awesome, and is the groove-character in both electro-house and tech-trance nowadays.

Glad to help you out
