Listening now:
Nice intro lol. The transition from the speech to the music is ok.
The first transition was good. You could've made it better imo if you preserved a bit the energy gained from the previous track (aka mixed it earlier). But its not bad!
Btw this Xerox track is one of my favorites from them.
Hm again, you are waiting way too much to bring the next track. After the Xerox one you didnt even beatmatch it. That way you are losing some of the energy that was gained. Take some risks. Also that Zen Mechanics is much chiller than the previous two ones. The track builds up at the end but still, the transition wasnt good.
Well you seem to make the transitions like this. This is your second set so it is obvious why you did it but you should definitely try to keep the energy levels high and rise them as well through the set and the best method for this is not to keep the same track for so long. The track selection is very nice btw so definitely keeping an eye on your works!
P.S. Pls next time at least 192kpbs!
Cheers!
Hey, man, thanks a lot for the listen! Yeah, sometimes I would really just rather listen to the whole track rather than try to squeeze beatmatch before the final breakdown and initial build of every track. I tried to make the transitions easy to follow, more psychedelic, building the transitions to the tracks so you can listen to the whole thing rather than keep you dancing nonstop the whole time.
I can see what you mean about the tracks dragging on too long though... Wizzy Noise - Abyss is about a 9:30 minute long song, and I pretty much let it play the whole way through. I definitely should have cut some of these tracks a little shorter. Maybe I'm just a lazy DJ. I had fun making these last two sets, and this type of music really makes me happy. Hope you enjoyed listening to the tracks at least, if my mixing wasn't that great
