how can i take out wine from a persian rug?
my gf just fukin puked all over my rug

to clean puke off your rug, spread all of your VHS tapes around the floor, put little bits of news paper between them with a bottle of Jack as the center pices...then strike a match.
that should clean up yer pukey carpet

get a butter knife and start prying out your base boards....when all the base boards are popped, move all of your furiture to another room. There's usually little tack strips near the wall underneath the carpet...it's easiest if you use a utility knife and cut 2 inches away from the wall....roll up the carpet and get your friend to help carry it outside.
you'll have underlay to roll up and remove after that.
then call Holmes on Homes and tell him some dood gave you shitty advice on the internet and you fucked up your house.
He'll come and save the day.
put some soda water on it ASAP and dab the rug until it comes out....don't rub it
(but test it on a hidden part of the rug first)

Oh if you have white wine it actually works really well to get out red wine stains. The acid from the grapes seems to do the trick...
I think your best bet is to just get her to puke uniformly over the entire surface of the rug. If the whole rug has a uniform puke/wine hue to it, then nobody will notice anything out of the ordinary.

I would hesitate to throw more wine on a wine-stain 10K rug.
Get it to a professional cleaners first thing this morning.
oxyclean can damage the rug if you do it too slow and there's a chance that it will disintegrate the fiber in the carpet.
there's a 75% chance that white wine will work but it will see a tad bit of change in color(in the carpet-even white wine leaves marks). And even if you use white wine, you still have to take the stink out afterwards.
Get you GF to lick clean her damn vomit and call it a day...saliva works.
In all seriousness you need to call a cleaning company who will steam or ultrasonic clean it for you, it's your only safe solution.
Go to Walmart and pic one of these up.
I have one and it works great. After you are done with it just wrap it up for a gift for someone or return it to Walmart.
