Best books?

Can any of you recommend good books to read, re: technical eq'ing, drum programming, fx etc and all the techniques needed to master (excuse the pun) this music malarkey. I already have The Dance Music Manual (1st edition), The Remixers Bible and the Trance Experience.

Any more recommendations of maybe Paul White's books or any others would be great.

Cheers

The Mixing Engineer's Handbook - Bobby Owsinski

Mastering Audio - Bob Katz

Not specifically dance music production focused, but the principles of learning to mix and master are pretty essential to get a good sound.

Take a look at the basic Mastering & Mixing handbooks by 'Paul White'

Aimed at all genres of production. Quite simple stuff, but very informative on getting the mix right, recording live sounds and effective use of EQ/effects etc.

The mastering book is especially good!

The most interesting books i have found was just random shit at half priced books. Truly is some good reads and for only a dollar a book sometimes. Though they can be outdated. such as everything you need to know about modern synthesizers copy right 1975.
