ID Contest 75 - Three quarters to one hundred!

Heyya kiddoes!

I thought I'd give you a present a bit early this year. Something to chew on while spending all your hard earned money on stuff your friends and family don't want or need. Here's tranceaddict Forums' 75th track identification contest!

What?

The name of the game is to identify as many tracks from 15 seconds samples as possible. This contest has 80 samples like my previous ones. I picked most tracks completely on random, but there's even a deliberate repeat, like an echo if you may.

The difficulty level is easy to intermediate, so few obscurities this time.

How?

Grab the pack from the link at the end of the post, fill in the answers sheet and send me your answers as a PM as often as you want. I'd appreciate if you always posted all your answers, and marked the new ones in some way. Whatever you do, don't post answers or even vague hints to this thread.

You get a point each for knowing the artist, track title and possible version or mix of the track. If the track is an "original" mix then the third point is given automatically upon knowing the artist and title.

When?

Contest ends... let's say Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 22:00:00 UTC time. Click here for times around the globe!

Winner gets to run the next contest, and an endorphin rush.

Good luck, and godspeed!

I will get fair amount of points if I would give little effort on this one.

Probably will check more closely before january

That would make things a lot more interesting that they currently are. But, the game being what it is, you can try your knowledge (or luck) by sending me your answers.

Posted by Echo of Silence on Dec-31-2008 02:11:

Okay, I just submitted my final answers. I won't have access to my music and probably won't have access to the internet for the rest of the week so I want to thank you, Mikael, for putting together such a fun contest!

I seem to learn so much when I participate in these id contests.

Good luck to the rest of you and Happy New Year!

Posted by GroundLine on Dec-31-2008 15:02:

Thanks for the nice words C!

And the rest of you, are you going to let a girl beat you?

Posted by GroundLine on Jan-01-2009 20:11:

echo, echo, Camwin!

Camwin 137 (+87)
Echo of Silence 128 (+16)
phant0m 99
Quethas 84
dimochka 63
Cygnus X 58
Lebezniatnikov 43
Armitage 27
Pokit 26
Philby 24

Echo improves her "final" score, but it's not enough to stand the gigantic improvement that Camwin does by improving his score by 174 %! Will anybody respond or will Camwin get his long awaited victory?

Uniques

phant0m 4 (-1)
Echo of Silence 3 (-2)
Camwin 2 (+2)
Quethas 1
Philby 1
dimochka 1

Lebezniatnikov 0 (-1)

Echo momentarily grabbed some uniques from the hints, but Camwin nullifies that and manages to grab some for himself.

Unidentified tracks

11, 21, 37, 47, 51, 52, 57, 73, 80

Cygnus X 58
Lebezniatnikov 43
Armitage 27
Pokit 26
Philby 24

Got an entry to the "context" from a tranceaddict who is registered this year and has 0 posts, but that did not by any means mean that the entry would be insignificant. On the contrary, the third place found a new taker!

Uniques

phant0m 3 (-1)
wario 3
Camwin 2
Echo of Silence 1 (-2)
Philby 1

Quethas 0 (-1)
dimochka 0 (-1)

wario also manages to remove 5 uniques and grab 3 for himself.

I wonder where treeboo's entry is hiding. He said the crown was his.

Less than 12 hours left!

Gettin' tight at the top

Camwin 137
phant0m 133 (+34)
Echo of Silence 128

Quethas 113 (+29)
dimochka 90 (+27)
Cygnus X 58
Lebezniatnikov 43
Armitage 27
Pokit 26
Philby 24

phant0m racer closer to the top, passing Echo and wario and would have been passed by Quethas who also improves his score. I think I forgot to update dimochka's score in the last update, also a good improvement.

Uniques

phant0m 3
wario 2 (-1)
Philby 1
Quethas 1 (+1)

Camwin 0 (-2)
Echo of Silence 0 (-1)

The tracks are not quite as unique anymore. Only Quethas manages to re-enter the list.
